October 10 in Craig County @ Craig County Public Library
Oct 10 all-day

Enjoy a day in the country offering food choices and a variety of activities, where Fall Foliage will be at its best and social distancing is easy.

Shop Jasmine’s Craft Fair at the old Lumber Yard (on 57 Market Street), book sales and vendors at the Public Library in New Castle then Cornerstone Church Christmas Bazaar. Cruise the Barn Quilt Trail on Rt 42 to Joe’s Trees for a hayride and pumpkin-picking. Stay for their DARK corn maze or return to the Fairgrounds for another exciting Demolition Derby—–events start at 4:30. You’ll be hungry, so it’s good to know Mike’s Doghouse food truck will be there.

Several restaurants offer outdoor seating. Remember the scenic over looks on Rt. 42 and Rt. 311, and Fenwick Mines is only 10 minutes from downtown New Castle — or stop at PineTop on your way. See the Restaurant list on this page or pick up a rack card.

Masks and handwashing are encouraged. Wave, don’t hug, And enjoy October 10 in Craig County.
