Virginia’s Western Highlands Artisan Trail — a collection of homegrown crafters and artists ready to show off their products. The trail includes lodging and restaurant information to help your visit be a great one.
There are over sixty sites across the 4-county region. Here’s what’s in Craig:
In Paint Bank in the old Post Office building is Mountain Crafters, with a varied collection of handmade gifts and decor. More gifts and Made-in-Virginia is across the street at the Paint Bank General Store. In the fall, Joe’s Trees Gift Shop is stocked with homemade jams and jellies, local art, and award-winning evergreen wreaths.
Additional restaurants in the county include Pine Top, Hutch-on-Main, and Bibo’s Pizzeria.
Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing offers lodging, meals and great outdoor recreation. Call them to ask about spending an afternoon on the Zip-Line!
Agri-tourism opportunities are Joe’s Trees – Next Gen Farm, Black Diamond Ranch, and Barefoot Farms. Craig also is lucky to have Woodall Blueberries and Silver Lining Asparagus, in season of course!
Truly, something for everyone!
